Ray Brouillette,    George Condon,    Dave Holloway,   &   Scott Cleveland
Scrap Iron Sun is the culmination of many years of writing music, playing in bands, making master tapes and keeping our day jobs. George and Scott started a band called The Missing Links in 1980 and over the past three decades, along with a long list of others, have parted ways, rejoined, separated, regrouped etc., etc., ya-da ya-da ya-da, until a couple of years ago when Dave Holloway got the bright idea of sending a video to a contest. George and I thought that would be a hoot and went along with him. Well, it kept us in our day jobs, but it also got us working on a new CD. So, what do we call ourselves now? I was in a local pub one Saturday night with my beer buddy, Marty Howe, when he turned to me in a not so coherent state and said, "I feel like I'm getting a rusty tan..," to which I replied, "Wha..?" and he pointed to a metal art sun hanging over the bar and said, "...under the scrap iron sun!" There you have it. Now you know. Fitting... I believe... Scrap... Rusty... Anyway, we're Scrap Iron Sun (and we still have day jobs...occassionally).

Our new CD, "Getting A Rusty Tan" is finally here! It's fifteen songs, including a cover of Herman's Hermits' "No Milk Today," which we've just posted a video for on YouTube. Also, you can download mp3's at digstation.com.
